It could leave much of the world hungry.
We are facing an epic competition between the 800 million motorists who want to protect their mobility and the two billion poorest people in the world who simply want to survive. In effect, supermarkets and service stations are now competing for the same resources…..”
-This might not be the only problem for our energy crisis, I had watched the documentary “Global Dimming” yesterday and found out we are on the verge of a huge disaster. Global Dimming is about how the world reduction of sunlight by air pollution. Burning fossil fuels had been creating a cloud of particles that shields the sunlight from earth, this has strange effects on our earth weather system.
Let me explain, currently the world is experiencing global warming because of massive invisible greenhouse gases trapping the heat in earth atmosphere. The visible air pollution (particles) actually cools down earth atmosphere (blocking and reflecting sunlight) thus making scientist world wide to under-estimate the effects of global warming.
During the 3 days period of September 11 2001, the whole USA had grounded all air crafts from flying creating a clear sky without any con-trails to cover the sunlight and a intensive study began immediately. The study shows that a major increase in temperature (1-2 degrees) for the 3 day period shows that the global warming is actually much more dangerous then expected!
Currently we had and been clearing air pollution over the past few years and the full impact of global warming that we are currently experiencing is in fact going to be a worrying trend. I understand that many people will disregard this blog as they think it will not affect them now or happen in their life time, but how wrong they will be.
Firstly, when the the global efforts to reduce pollutants from the sky might had just solve the health hazards and reduce global dimming. This however had reduced the cooling effect of the over hanging pollution “shade” thus expose the earth to the full IMPACT of global warming, the world will increase temperature very suddenly.
The increase of temperature caused by over reliant on fossil fuel that produces greenhouse gases when burned WILL cause major mayhem over mother Earth Environment creating major flooding in unexpected location, melt all the ice in the polar region thus increasing the sea level up like 6 to 10 meters higher, forest fires in the Amazon jungle, drought in many countries, famines and finally desertification of major regions that are already have very warm climate.
This can signify a major change in the world weather pattern and caused a global die-off and slowly moving towards the end of the world by 2100, we have to give up our currently lifestyle driven by fossil fuel NOW.
The renewable energy might not able to support our current population and the inevitable die-off will occur naturally (plague or starvation) or by artificial means (War, Terrorism, Chemical or Biological).
We need to less fossil fuel that produces green house gases and use more renewable immediately!!!!
Wait….ethanol? What ethanol? Let’s starve together!!
