Excellent Peak Oil Video

A very short and sweet PEAK OIL video presentation on the problem and part of the solution. It did not cover the possibility of alternative energies but it did have the right concept of the type of trouble that we are all going to be in very soon.

All other alternative energies will take many years to fully implement but if all can be done simultaneously, I believe we can have a rocky but possible transition to a tough but survivable world.

Do view the video to the very end to sink in what is this PEAK OIL’s implication.

(Note: This video was created in the USA and their electricity is generated mostly by coal whereas Singapore is using mostly Natural Gas)

    Very interesting yet scary video. Why aren’t we more alerted by the media about this serious problem we are all going to face in the near futur? Could this be the decline of the human race? Basically, no oil = no life…! Better start cultivating my own food in my garden!

    Hi David,

    Basically there won’t be a day on Earth that we will be lacking of oil but only we will run out of CHEAP Oil…

    The economy will still function however only the very rich or the prepared ones will survive peak oil.

    Basic outcome of peak oil is economic disaster and shortage of food, water, electricity, imports, transport and some amenities required by modern cities…but it does not means we won’t get any of the above mentioned….it’s just more expensive.

    If everyone can self sustain your own family’s needs like electricity, water, food and essentials…then life will be easier…just find some ideas how to do that cheaply and conveniently.
