Israel has entered the last phase of its war preparations against Iran. Recent resignation of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, a proponent of negotiations and concessions, and several other factors speak well for the imminent war. Israel’s recent creation of the US missile defense shield can be another addition on the list. The US administration also tries to use the Israeli forces to play a dirty trick on Russia.
The resignation of the Israeli prime minister has become another reason to raise the subject of imminent war between Israel and Iran. Many Israeli politicians dislike Ehud Olmert’s views on the need to conduct negotiations with neighboring states, as well as his intention to discuss an opportunity to return Golan Heights to Syria.
There are other aspects which testify to a possible war in the nearest future. The USA is going to ship a radar station to Israel to track down missile launches. Furthermore, the United States intends to use the radar together with Israel . The USA will provide Israel with early missile launch prevention information, as well as technical and financial aid for the creation of the missile defense system.
According to Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak, the radar station will be deployed in Israel before the new US administration officially takes the White House in January 2009.
Israel acts by the law of war and seriously prepares to attack Iran’s nuclear objects. It transpired that the top Israeli administration had had a secret meeting with architect of Operation Opera, Retired General Aviam Sela. It was Sela, who planned the surprised Israeli air strike against the Iraqi nuclear reactor 27 years ago. - this is the prelude to a preemptive attack to Iran that might leave USA no choice to either clean up the mess or join in the fun and either attack Iran or Defend furiously against Iran’s retaliation to oil routes (Straits Of Hormuz), oil facilities nearby and U.S. Military bases surrounding IRAN.
This will have serious implication on the price of oil and may create huge ripple effects on the economy of the world. Inflation will become more serious and world might get into defensive mode against exporting supply of food or fuel that their local domestic market needed.
Shortages might be further amplified by panic hoarding and violence comes along food riots.
What can you prepare in advance? Debt reduction, fishing skills, farming skills and of course selling skills must be beef up in advance to self sustain yourself in face of this “sudden” global crisis in the making.
Of course, do not panic hoard food now all at once. Short lifespan of food is the reason why it’s not recommended to buy all at once otherwise your majority of the food might expired all at once.
Buy food at intervals to store to ensure longevity of your storage and do buy only those that you are willing to eat.
Rice can be cooked as porridge, fish can be salted to for long storage.
Prediction on the date for war? Most believe is within August to November 2008 just before the new America’s Presidential hand over.
